Welcome to Litcham Childcare – a community based childcare provision operating from a purpose-built building on the site of Litcham School (Primary phase).
We offer high quality care and support to young children between the ages of 2-4, with wrap around care for children 2-11 years old.
About Us
We are a Registered Charity no 1087935.
Litcham Childcare has its own room within the building that is managed and used for additional learning by Litcham School, part of the Synergy Trust Group.
Our room is bright and spacious, purposely built for educational purposes and has been the home of Litcham Childcare since 2008. Within our room we provide different areas for a variety of activities such as role play, book corner, creative/messy and small world play.
The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, and the children are encouraged to self-select resources and equipment they would like to use or play with. The building and all rooms within it are secure and all doors are fitted with a security number pad for keeping the children safe.
The aim of Litcham Childcare is to provide a safe and secure environment for early years development to reliably and consistently thrive.
Children that attend Litcham Childcare between the ages of 2-4, go on to attend a large number of surrounding primary schools including Litcham Primary phase, Great Dunham Primary School, Necton C of E Primary School, Beeston Primary School, Great Massingham C of E School, St Marys Beetley Primary School and Sporle C of E Primary School.
